Returns and Poor product

Just wondered how often people get sent a product that on arrival, is not what they expected and what they then do about it........

I have had 2 recently from different suppliers and in essence, have been fobbed off twice by being told the products have just separated and to shake them up.............to no avail.
One was Madcow Ultra violet that had no colour and no smell and was just like water........(not from Madcow directly)
Another was Iced apple tyre gel from Juicy details that isn't black and simply won't adhere to a clean tyre (not from Juicy details direct - Not long informed them and am waiting a response to be fair)
Annoying but not worth the added cost of returning in the hope of some positive reaction imo..... Does make me consider not buying online so much though as I guess a lot of retailers simply have no control over the quality of what they sell....?

Not complaining and I can accept it happens but, just curious on peoples thoughts and how common it may be......

On a different note, recently had an issue with a broken bottle of Adams shampoo from Prestige and it was replaced without question straight away and I received first class service from Jeff so will def use them again for sure .........

Cheers

Not sure where you bought from pal but if any of it was fleabay, you run the risk of imitation products.

Under the Consumer Rights Act, you have rights to return products with free postage for a full refund if the quality is not satisfactory, they aren't fit for purpose or they are not as described.

Go back to the resellers, most will be helpful and accept the return and give you a label to cover the postage, if they aren't drop a claim on Paypal or your Credit card if they aren't helpful.

This is one problem with companies that simply rebottle bulk brought chemicals - they don't have the knowledge of its contents to be able to advise correctly
