Hand polish recommendations

Friends,

Usually I polish my big MV Agusta F4S using a machine polisher.

There are however issues where access is difficult.

I would greatly appreciate recommendations of a polish that can be applied by hand. I am looking for a light to medium grade polish and pad combo.

Cheers

you can use the same compound / polish you have...and use a german applicator (google it).

Klin korea also produce german applicators, but they come in round shape (200ml pot size), which I very much prefer to the classic shape.

Friends,

I have purchased the required hand polishing pads but I haven't really hand polished using Menzerna so, I would appreciate thoughts on how the Menzerna polishes are most effectively applied using a hand polishing pad including thoughts on number of 'sets', work time per set, quantity of polish per given area (probably 6" x 6") and importantly how much pressure should I apply (ie should the 'application' part of the hand polishing pads be compressed by 20, 30, 40 percent etc or perhaps advice on a kilogram force would help).

Many thanks

Did read this and went to reply and decided not to.
Not much feedback, so will add my thoughts.

As an old past hand polisher I would buy a small bottle of Swisvax medium cleaner., scratch remover.
It's not cheap gear, but not a mistake buying this one. It has lubrication added and slightly oily, but really nice to use in a controlled manner. Reckon that would be prefect on a Bike.
You get exactly what you put in to it.
It does need cleaning off properly before waxing etc.
MF pad with sponge centre is good slightly dampened to start with.
