The ice-cream porter smells great.
I wasn't too keen on the lucaria but the nitro was lovely. I forgot about this thread but have been posting on Tappd. Worryingly I'm up to 86 different beer in the last 3 months.
I really enjoyed the Wilde Child brewery Explicit Emphasis and Beast Master. I had their dark Beer lovers pack this weekend

There is nothing worrying about trying new things

I bought a case of the Vault City beers. Some were really good. This one is ok, but a bit sweet.

The Aberdeen Christmas market stalls had a fudge stall. They also have a shop in Torry. It needs a while in the fridge, but the fudge is lovely.

I've had a few weird and wonderful ales recently, will have to have a look back through my photos and post them up.

Right now though, a classic Abbot Ale in being enjoyed.

Just ordered myself some Purple Moose beers. They're a small brewery in Porthmadog in Wales.
Really enjoyed them when we went there on holiday a few years ago.

This is from a micro brewery set up in the old Bass' Museum. As someone who's dad worked for Bass and who grew up living in a Bass owned house across the street from the brewery is a nice bit of nostalgia.
This is Czars P2 Imperial stout from Heritage Brewing and it's rather good, smooth and rich hiding it's 8%

Been getting cases from brewdog but fancied a change given they appear to be focussing on the small, light lagers/IPAs. Ended up putting an order in to Vocation having tried some of their stuff in Tesco. Ended up with a case of the following

6x Imperial Cherry Kirsch Barrel Aged 440ml
12x SINGLE HOP SHOWCASE Galaxy Edition - 440ml
6x Double Frappé | 9% Salted Caramel & Coffee Stout 440ml
12x ROSSØYA | 8.0% Sour Kveik DIPA440ml Can
12x 15 Mile Round Trip

I’ve had a Rossøya and a few 15 mile round trip so far and really enjoying them. The Rossøya was really citrus and fruity. The missus has had a Kirsch and a frappe so far. Kirsch was thick to drink and spicy, was a lovely taste. The frappe was nice but a bit sweet for me.
