I wont buy them anymore. The last lot had about 10 out of the 36 with a singed corner which would have certainly scratched my paint had i not donated them to Mrs RS3. Many also had sections within them where the microfibre was patchy and as someone else mentioned, there aren't 70/30 anymore so not as soft and absorbant as they used to be.
I buy the Paragon Premium 70/30 cloths for paint: https://paragonmicrofibre.com/shop/m...cloths-300gsm/
and the Paragon eco 250's for real dirty work: https://paragonmicrofibre.com/shop/m...m-packs-of-10/

I have never had a bad towel from Paragon - the quality is far superior to the Kirkland ones in my experience.

You can get 40 of these for 17.56

https://www.carparts4less.co.uk/p/st...card-548779201

They are the same thickness as the Kirkland ones the only difference I've found was color

I like the Autosmart pack, much better quality, you want 80/20 70/39 300gsm - 480gsm according vto Ammo NYC.

Even it you only buy one quality cloth, as has been said good for some jobs just not paint, or black and super compounds, even with Eraser on soft paint.

Klin Korea
Rag Company

The AG Red wash well are not cheap yet last year's with the correct care

I've been through this conundrum recently and plumped for Paragon. The towels seem like excellent quality however, they are NOT colour fast! Need a couple of washes minimum. As my now pink Microfibre Madness drying towel will attest.

The way i've gone is premium towels for polish reside removal - a mix of CarPro Boas and In2Detailing 460GSM edge less towels and then for coating removal i'm going to use the Paragons as I can bin them if needed.

without starting a whole thread about MF cloths, ive been quite happy with my Kirkland ones. Ive used all sorts of ones - AG ones, Halfords cheapies and plenty between. Kirklands have been the best ive used that dont break the bank. The edging concerns me but all the edgeless ones I have seem to not last or be way too dear to use them as I do

I’m still using a bag of Kirkland MF’s bought in bulk 10 years or so ago and wasn’t aware of any quality issues with more recent production.

I would also recommend The Rag Company Company Creature Edgeless (420gsm) and Edgeless 365 Premium if you are happy to pay a bit more.
