Citroen Dealership - Romford

Hello All,

Purchasing a car from the dealership and they are having their detailer give it the once over.

Just wondering if anyone on here does any work for them or knows anyone who does.

As part of the deal all dents and scuffs are being repaired by dealer. Detailer will be buffing out light marks & scuffs. Full decon and detail I will do myself at a later date.

Not being funny, but if it was me, I would be haggling them down because of it and getting the work done myself.

Our expectations compared to a dealership that knows they've already sold a car and just needs to get Del Boy to fix the paint as cheaply as possible (95% of the time) are very different things.

Just my opinion!

Will be a rubbish job - detailing takes time and dealers don't allow this time nor do they have the knowledge

I'll be finding out tomorrow or Monday when I collect the car. If I'm not happy with it will complain and see where we go from there.

I'm not expecting it to be fully detailed or a prestige job.

Probably find they've buffed out the scuffs and then a AIO will be the way forward (if that).

Not too worried, as will get it some time and TLC when ready.

I suspect once you see the car in bright winter sunlight it will have a load of buffer trails.

I can only comment on some bonnet chips that a dealer repaired and polished on a car I had...... one wash with the pressure washer and I knew exactly where they had been out with the paint and
