Paint particles in pads.

Posted on another thread, but no response so I am posting up again.

Having started polishing work on my dandelion yellow evo 5, I am getting lots of yellow paint particles in the pad after use, which are very difficult to remove from the pad. I have been trying the apc and massage out technique, but still have particle left.

Any advice on how to get the out fully? (Don’t have a pad cleaner, and I don’t think they even sell them here in Japan where I live).

Also, will these particles cause any damage to my paintwork if I don’t get them fully out of the pads?

Regards, mike

My best advice would be have lots of pads, swap them out very very regularly, and as soon as you swap them put them to soak into a bucket of apc.

Whilst using them, blow them out after every set with a compressor to free up the clogged pores.
But honestly, this is what polishing single stage paint is like
