Suzuki Vitara which one?

My wife is looking to change her Ford Kuga for a smaller SUV and fancies the Vitara.
The Ford is a fully loaded 2.0 ltr diesel, but her business use is reduced so she wants a petrol.
What is the best Vitara to have, e.g. Value for money, reliability, comfort, looks?
Any deals at the moment?
Willing to buy anywhere in the country, any dealers recommended?

I have read reviews of the current Vitara and the 1.4 boosterjet turbo petrol engine is apparently a very good engine in terms of refinement, performance and economy

Phoenix Suzuki ,Paisley Glasgow are very good I had a Vitara XL7 and the service was excellent . Way better than my local deler .
I assume they will still be as good as it was 6 years ago .

My parents have the 1.6 and it goes well. Averages 48 mpg ish and they don't use it much.

I would highly recommend Rob at Ron Brooks Suzuki in Mansfield. If you tell him Ben Slater sent you he will look after you.

Made a U-turn and ordered a brand new Lexus CT200h.
I am surprised that my missus got away from a 4x4 and likes a low car.
Full of toys and technology very interesting.
Probably the best solution for short and slightly longer daily journeys.
The seats (sport) are amazing, the finish on either interior and exterior are just faultless.
It drove much better than I was expected, it’s not fast or a rubber burner, but it does what you ask from it without noise or effort.
A total new experience.

We will find out if the dealers are as good as they say.

Come on the next 3 weeks, make them go quick!

Driven a few CT as loaners whilst my IS and RX are in for service. Certainly a nice little car and does what it intends to do.

Did you go for the recent facelift model or the outgoing Sport?

Only thing to be wary of on these is the low doors - they can scrape the ground if parked next to high kerbs or next to an incline

The new facelifted one, I realised that they are close to the ground, but we are the only ones to ever sit in them.
Her previous car nobody has ever sat in the back.
So no not caring people in the car.
(Have been known to pay someone’s a taxi to get home, as I didn’t want them in my car.

There's a neighbour of my father in law who is on his 4th / 5th Lexus and just won't look / consider anything else, he's recently just got the new NX, but has had a few CT's and loved them.

And he says the dealers are as good as people say

Enjoy it
