Drexler ceramic

Hi all. I've recently started researching into different kinds of paint protection. Ive come across a ceramic coating by drexler. Has anyone had experience of this and ceramic coatings? Am I right to thing once it's done the car only needs washing? Is it easy to apply?

Yes you are right once applied just safe wash and occasional top up with a qd type product. The hard bit is getting the paint sorted before application remember you are sealing whatever state it's in for a while and most likely need matching off.

Coatings can be challenging to apply and get the beautiful even finish you want so not for someone new to detailing in my view.
