swirl removal - Audi A6

I thought this might of some interest to some people and hopefully it will be of some use!

this is a post from a thread i made on another car based forum...so here goes.. actually as the thread is on another forum i didnt think it would be fair to link all the pics etc and waste their bandwidth...so if you follow the link below im sure you'll get the idea!

http://www.tyresmoke.net/ubbthreads/...0/fpart/1/vc/1

hope it helps peeps!

what i used by the way..
right i used, a dewalt 443 random orbital sander (from machine mart),with a meguiars w8006 polishing pad from clean and shiny.co.uk

products i used were from john at clean and shiny..a top fella! ,
meguiars dual action cleaner polish
meguiars speed glaze

toped with deep crystal system stage 2 (pure polish)
then NXT
i did try the P21s carnuba wax on half of the boot which ive heard great things about, but to be honest i thought the nxt made the paint work sparkle whereas the p21s made it more wet looking.

Hi 182, the dewalt is fantatsic if a bit noisy, its a got a soft start and is really easy to use, ive taken my side arm grab thingy off and use the top of my plam to control some movement which i feel gives me more control , its definetly a quality product. not tried 21 yet but will do very soon when i get the motor or should i say if i ever get a new motor..lol!!
