Before I spend £120, is this right?!?

Hi There,

I'm new and co-incidentally just two weeks ago bought my first personal car in three years after having a company car.

I have already ordered the Porter Cable kit from Autopia, its the Sonus DAS kit, so hopefully that should cover most of what I need for the polishing side of things.

However, I now need to buy the chemicals to work with the PC.

I already have at home:

Meguiars Lambswool mitt, Meguiars NXT wash, Terry Towelling cloths, Autoglym Leather cleaner and treatment....

So, I went to www.cleanandshiny.co.uk and have specced up the following, would someone be so kind as to critique if this list is correct?

I have a 1998 Audi in Anthracite/Dark Grey.

C&S Flexi Blade for removing water
2x Microfibre drying cloths (micropak)

Meguiars #36 Wheel Cleaner

Meguiars quick clay detailing system
Meguiars Quick Detailer

Meguiars #83 Polish
Meguiars #80 Speed Glaze

Poorboys EX-P
Poorboys Nattys Blue

Meguiars High Endurance tyre gloss

Meguiars Quick Detail Interior

So, does that list look OK, and would you use them in the same order as they are listed?

Thanks, I want to order quickly as C&S are 5 mins away from my work!!!

:-)

Looks OK to me mate - if you need any pointers on PC use, feel free to shout as I'm about 15 minutes down the M3 from C&S

Looks remarkably similar to my recent shopping list! I've gone for the Megs Wheel Brightener following some good reviews on here.

Oh, and s**tloads of cloths, you can never have enough!

Looks like a good kit list to me.

Be prepaired to buy even more though!! Even if your happy with the stuff you have.... you will still want to buy other stuff to try!!

Thats just the way this disease works!!!!

Excellent, well the order went in, although I took out #83 and put in Poorboys SSR2.5 in it's place.

I can see this getting expensive....

^^I think you did well to swap the #83 for ssr2.5 as its slightly better by pc

Looks good to me, I to would ditch the #83 for some SSR 2.5 and lose the Flexi drying blade to.

I would also replace the Megs Quick Detailer for some else IMO, and get some Pakshak towels to replace you terry ones for product removal.
