Removing scratch

Hi Guys,

I have a Ming Blue (dark blue) audi and there are 2 scratches on the C Pillar (Right by the petrol cap) that are doing my head in!

I am about to purchase the PC for all my polishing needs and was wondering if this scratch can be polished / cut out?

The scratch doesn't seem that deep but I can see the white (primer?).. Also I can feel the scratch if I go over it with my finger nail...

Obviously its really difficult for you guys to say whether this can be removed using without actually seeing it but do you have any gut feelings on whether this can be removed?

Thanks for your help!

Rich.

The fact that your nail catches and you can see primer sounds to me as if its very fine but deep, and unfortunaly will need paint. Clean the scratch well to check it is no wax of polish stuck in it rather than the primer.

Another trick - what happens if you wipe over the scratch with damp finger, does the mositure make it look like it disapears?
