I may get a 25 litre container (or 2), and when I have my regular chap going to airport, swing by the one in Guildford (opening soon) or basingstoke

also, there should be one in Chichester soon, so that'll be the nearest then

Yeah it's cheap and I think you can use it on a pay as you go basis too.

What did the account set up process involve, did you have to register a Bank card?.

I haven't yet, they said they are sending out a key, with a barcode to use when you fill up, then that goes straight onto your account, think I shall stick a tenner on it and see how that goes first

Went to my local Spotless Water unit this morning to give it a go, used on a pay as you go basis, so just like using a petrol pump.

Filled up my 25L container which had a little DI water already in it, so probably dispensed about 23L at a cost of 97p.

My only concern was using my debit card in a machine that is out of the way on a pretty rough industrial estate, but probably worrying about nothing, just hope the card payment system is secure.

This is a great bit of advice, thank you. I’ve set up an account and just need my local site to open up,and I’ll be good to go! (Apart from the eyes rolling of swmbo when I tell her I’m now using distilled water to rinse my car )

I used to use a spare bank account when I first started buying stuff on eBay when it was relatively new, only kept a small amount of money in it as a precaution. Crazy to think like that with how big it is today but worth a thought. Plus with online banking, moving money in and out is seconds of a job from home, rather than going into a bank and paying in money

As of yesterday they had still not charged me for the 97p, wonder if I was under the minimum spend limit on the card.

In light of this, how are you folks rinsing the car? I have a PW that can run from a bucket so that could work but it would require me to drain the hose, disconnect it and then reconnect it for the filtered water set up. Curious to hear how you are doing it
