Using Elixir to protect Carpro Cquartze lite following application instead of Reload?

Does anyone know if it would be safe to use Carpro Elixir instead of Reload following the application of Carpro Cquartze lite with regards to protection from water spotting?

“After the paint is free of residue, leave to dry for 4 hours prior to getting wet. Any water drops during first 48h should be removed before drying to prevent water spotting. We also recommend the use of CarPro Reload 1 hour after application to protect from water spots during first 48h.”

In my experience, Elixir will be fine. I use it instead of Reload as I find it overall a much better product. Easier to use, much more hydrophobic and similar durability. Also a good drying aid.

Not recommended until after the first wash. I was told this by a CarPro rep. Reload is still the recommended product for post coating application.

Thanks for the input, maybe I should contact Carpro just to be on the safe side.

I was told the opposite of this. Even Corey of CarPro US advised to stick with reload during a coating install. Avi did tell me maintenance with Elixir is perfectly fine.
