Porsche 944 // Winter prep

Hi Folks,

I was searching for a fun weekend car for quite some time until I found this beauty:

A Porsche 944, built in 1989 with a 2.7 liter NA engine and 200k kilometers on the clock

Unfortunately I never had the time to give it a decent detailing job until now.

Thank you for reading/watching!

BEFORE

Treated the wheels with Nanolex Wheel Cleaner & Iron Remover and pressure washed them.

Snowfoamed the car with Autofinesse Avalanche.

Cleaned the car with the 3 bucket system, Autofinesse Lather and the Microfiber Madness Wash Mitt.

Clayed the car with Autofinesse Clay Bar and Autofinesse Glide.

Sorry, no pics of this step

The car has been over sprayed in the past which probably explains the state of this paint. (Fairly good)

Taped up and ready to polish!

I used the Rupes Bigfoot LHR 12 with a the Rupes Green and Yellow pad to achieve these results.

Washed and dried the car after polishing, and used Autofinesse Rejuvenate to prep the paint.
Waxed it with Autofinesse Illusion.

Couldn't continue because it started to rain, but managed to get these great shots of the beading.

The next day I cleaned the interior with Autofinesse Verso.

Dried the interior with an electric heater and the windows open

Dressed the tires with Autofinesse Gloss, treated the trim with Autofinesse Revive and cleaned the windows with Autofinesse Crystal.

Again no pictures of these steps, sorry!

After all this work, all I wanted to do was take the 944 for a ride!

Now covered up for the next season.

Next project (new daily):

Searched for one a few years back but couldn't find a decent one that I was prepared to go for.
