Thanks everyone. Very pleased with how they turned out. All fitted and tested for leaks. Just need to give her a wash now.

how come the backing plate is affected as well?

I accidentally caught it on the backing play in the mounting hanger and it ripped off the foam backing.

Lol, I did say it will ruin your pads

That's a grand job though, came up better than new.

Makes me want to do mine again, but there's no way it is coming off the car in a hurry.
