Mondeo Mk3 ....

I really should update the project thread but Monty (thats the Mondeo) needed new headlight bulbs and a foglight that had been broken since April last year when i handed over £700 for the privilege of a dented rattling diesel.

So 2 weeks ago i decided that i will replace the foglight, its held on by one screw - simple ... no its seized in, great bumper off, oh great the caged nuts spin, oh and the bumper brackets are bent due to a dent in the wing.

A few days later it starts to go back together, while under the driverside spring was broken. Thats a simple thing to change .... except in a Mondeo the strut assembly is too long, so driveshaft out, lower arm disconnected still no joy. Ah Ford drop the subframe, i go to undo the front and ..... its already loose ... ah someone has been playing before. So 2 weeks after i originally started many swear words used the spring is off. Hopefully i can get it back together in another 2 weeks.

Oh and i've got the rear brakes to clean up .... and while the front is in bits i might as well swap the lower arm.

The really fun bit is if i'd have taken it into work i would have got it done for free.... but where is the fun in that

I always undid the bottom Ball joint and track rod end when doing front springs/shockers on these.
Let's the hub slide right down
