Difficult to comment on damage without a pic.
I took a punt on KC Ps (Plast Star) on recommendation from a trusted person.
Cost's a few bob, but I am really pleased with the results.
Leave a mat finish and plastic looks as it did when new.
Has UV protection and can be used on rubber too.
Very little is required if supplied with a sponge and results are great.
Personal view, whatever care is taken with the rest of the exterior, if the trim is not given deserved attention and time the whole car is let down.
It gets a :thumb: from me.
Try Kunststoff-Färber schwarz
Plastic dye paste, black
Water-resistant plastic dye for recolouring badly faded or weathered plastic parts on vehicle exteriors. Dyes, impregnates and cares for the treated parts. Excellent covering properties and extremely high resistance.
It's available from In2Detailing.
