Autolym UHD Wax
Hi Guys,
can anyone advise if the new UHD wax is okay to use in sunlight. I know some wax is okay with this and some are just a no go. Just keen to see what it's light as a summer wax. I applied it back in Feb and it was good and just curious to see what it's like in the sun ?? Anyone any experience applying this in the recent sunshine cheers |

Yes, absolutely. I used it on a scorching day the other week in full sunlight. It's not ideal to do that but it didn't harm the wax. I just left it to dry for a few minutes rather than the usual 10-15.

i used it recently on a fairly warm sunny day and it was a pleasure to use, probably one of the easiest i have used, even in direct sunlight. its still performing very well now on an unprepared vehicle around 2-3 months later which i am surprised and very impressed.
hope you get on well with it |

Not tried the UHD wax, but a big fan of their previous HD wax and from what I can gather, the UHD is a step up.
I used the HD wax in heat previously and no issues at all - other than bit of buffing required if you leave it on too long - just experiment with curing time depending on weather ![]() Looking forward to seeing photos ![]() |
