Very dirty rain last night

Got a lot of dirt fallout in last night's rain by the look of the wife's car roof

Notice you are near Hull, maybe compounded by the refinery's and steelworks close by perhaps?

I haven't left the house yet but noticed the roof of my car looked very dusty (only washed it a couple of days ago), I'm in South Yorkshire.

My red car looks awful, looks like it's been sat under a tree for 6 months... only cleaned it the other day too.

I would say much of that may well have come from the roof of the house.

Moss and lichen get blown about in the winds.

A good power wash will rinse the most of it followed by a good wash.

chance of any industry in Hull would be nice. Thatcher killed all that in the 80's

Steel works is in Scunthrope and does have a 'mist' to it. ive a black car and regulary wash it then leave it on the drive without using it and its soon gets 'mucky' in the rain

yeah I can understand the dirt from roof comment with the leaves and other debris but the mucky water spots happened overnight and have never happened like that before or since in the 8 years we've been in this house. Should've got a closer picture really sorry.
