E92 330D - Freshen up

Hi All.

Not new here, but recently purchased an old E92 330D M Sport to save some money on Fuel costs (50Mpg on the Motorway is great for the bank balance).

I had an 8V S3 and Fiesta ST before this, both brand new, neither of which are anywhere near this old beast in terms of build quality. The "last" of the true BMW 3 Series Coupes.

I Had to Travel from South Wales to Northumberland to get it, which is the furthest North I've been in my life, lol.

Only modifications are that I had the wheels refurbished locally, which I have to say is a really top job, but I think I made a mistake with the colour, should have stayed OE.

Any comments on the wheels specifically (colour) would be welcomed, even if negative.

Anyway...the car:

Thanks.

G

Nice. I also think the wheels suit it well.

That looks lovely. I actually really like the wheels too.

The 3 litre straight 6 is some beast, isn't it!!!

Health to enjoy!!

Wheels don’t look too bad, could of picked a worse colour. Nice to see a decent set of tyres on a car. Colour combos on the car are nice, surprised the S3 build quality you weren’t impressed by. Only thing I’d want to improve now would be the disc hubs, calipers and disc backing plates as they let the wheels down. Nice car regardless.

very smart mate, i like the way you arranged them photos too.

nice to see an e92 non M3 being looked after aswell, i see a lot of crappy ones with wrecked wheels running budgets tyres and they're usually 320'ds
