U.K. AMMO Retailer - anyone ordered from them ?

Hi

I seem to have found a U.K. based reseller that stocks AMMO products.

Not sure if I am allowed to mention them here, but I was just wondering if anyone had ordered from them in the past.

Looks like they are based in Birmingham.

If it’s allowed I could add a link also.

Would really like to try a few AMMO products, but Ordering from the US with the exchange rate+VAT+duty+parcelForce admin fee makes them a little pricey

Thanks
Keith

To the best of my knowledge AMMO don't have a UK distributor, i know Cossiecol has ordered from Larry and he mentioned that he had no plans to have a UK distributor so if someone is selling the products, then it may very well not be official as such

Oh and if they are not listed amongst the supporters then no, you can't post a link to it.

I'm with muzzer on this one. IIRC was there not an article in pvd magazine where Larry said he would only sell direct. Can't remember the exact reason but I think it was to do with keeping the quality rather than just mass sales.

I contacted them.
Unfortunately, the AMMO products are shipped direct from AMMO NYC
so although they are U.K. based, it does not help :-(

Looks like I may have to consider placing an order myself direct with Larry

Does anyone have experience of what rate import duty is charged at ?
I know there will also be VAT on that.
Also, from what I’ve read, it will come in from ParcelForce for the U.K. part, they they add an additional admin fee on top ?

Thanks
Keith.

Not sure, half the replies don't so that's only 50% of constant.

They seem to only do direct from NYC.

I took the hit as I really want to try out the Aerator waterless system!

This should give you an idea for shipping costs.

This is in no way a slant on AMMO NYC but for what it cost extra in shipping,VAT etc, You're better off saving the extra £'s and buy from well respected outlet's from the UK and the other products are just as good. Believe me if there was a UK distributor then I would have certainly ordered AMMO products but can't justify the import costs.
