Is DoDo Juice Supernatural still a good wax?

I've been out of the detailing game for years now, so I'm out of touch with all the latest trends and products.

I want to detail my car, and I've some Dodo Juice Supernatural wax leftover from when I bought it ten years ago, I think it cost me £100 at the time!

The wax still seems exactly how I remember it, but a quick google shows it's all about ceramic coatings and wax is old news!

In any case, is supernatural still considered a good wax? I remember being impressed with it at the time.

Also, what's the best shampoo for maintenance washes afterwards? I have been using Gyeon Bathe but apparently you shouldn't use on top of a traditional wax.

Technology moves on, there seems to be a lot of new products on the market since I last used it (about ten years ago).

SN will always be a lovely wax. I still use it regularly on most cars. Hybrid waxes are even better - SN Hybrid being a current regular one for me. Any shampoo will do, a pure shampoo is fine unless you plan to wash it less regularly, then use something with gloss enhancers or something like sour power.

Has the technology moved on? or has the marketing budget moved up!

This ^^
There's lots of overpriced crap on the market, you have to sort the wheat from the chaff.

It is still a great wax. The shift to ceramic coatings has been huge, and they are very good. However, in my opinion there is no ceramic coating which gives a shine as good as a top quality carnauba hard wax. Plus there is the pleasure of waxing your car at the weekends.
I have a ceramic coating on my car, but I still have my jar of Zymol Concours. I do miss using it, the shine it gives is second to none, there is next to no difference with this and the more expensive coatings, it's the law of diminishing returns.
I remember using Supernatural about 12 years ago. It was in a beautiful wooden box, and was very nice to use, giving good results. Hard waxes do not degrade provided they are kept out of the warmth, if storing it, keep it in the fridge, it'll last indefinitely.
