Platinum leaving residue

Am i doing something wrong with platinum?

Applied today, using a Microfiber applicator pad (Ive always used this with platinum and cleanser polishes) Left for a few seconds and buffed off using a microfiber cloth, However when the sun hit the panels, it looked like a waxy hologram had been left on the surface, buffed again and still had the same result.

Any help would be appreciated as i have 5l of the stuff

Not used it, but possibly could be just down to the heat we've had - perhaps give it a wipe over / quick spray with QD in the morning when a little cooler and see if still there ?

presume you've not put anything under it that you haven't previously ?

I know it's probably a stupid question but did you thoroughly rinse after tardis?

Platinum is a fantastic product which is so easy to use to get an amazing result.

Whether its the heat or something else, there must have been an anomaly in your process, stopping you achieving perfection.

I would love 5l of the stuff (bought a litre from a popular auction site AS seller.)

Update: Used it again today on another vehicle and it worked perfectly fine with no residue. Must have been the heat/humidity that was causing the oily residue
