Lovely work dude! Have you thought of getting a pad washer so you don't use as many? It's on my list of things I'd like, I currently wash the pads by hand rather than sealing out.

Thanks SC Llama

No, not really. My reason for using so many pads is to extend pad life, and get the most cut when machine polishing.

Also, less heat, wear & delamination issues. Not forgetting wasted time cleaning pads between polishing sets.

I get a wash bucket filled with cold water & keep adding each dirty pad as I change pads.

Submerge in water a quick wash by hand & leave pads in there till the end of the day. Stops compound/ polish drying out & a breeze to wash in the sink by hand with dish soap.

Get a few plush clean microfibres & squeeze pads dry. Leave to air dry fully overnight, then good to go.

That's my detailed process
