It's only a concept and it's Kia's vision of it's Niro crossover , EV of course. This electric crossover promises a 238 mile range and this concepts exterior is a bold evolution from the Korean company with largely bespoke bodywork to make it more aerodynamic. The front end has reshaped headlamps and a blanked-out grille incorporating an interactive display panel. From the side view, there's a distinctive low-drag wheel design, while a gloss black lower body-kit also features. The back of the vehicle has slim LED headlamps and a curvy tailgate. The cabin of the Niro concept is bespoke with bright materials, touch pad switch gear, interactive lighting and a digital dash display. A first for Kia is an 'active pedestrian warning system' which combines front-mounted camera's with objection recognition tech to warn pedestrians or cyclists audibly of the cars presence. The tech underneath is a 150 KW electric motor mated to a 64 KWH lithium-iron battery pack with Kia claiming to have a a range of 238 miles which could extend to 300 miles as battery tech improves.

I can't tell if it's really, really ugly - or whether it's just those wheels ruining the whole look!

The rear is almost 'okay' . . . The only positive I would say is the rear light clusters.

Not sure - some images looks good, some not so good - perhaps in 'normal' paint and better wheels, but a touchpad in the centre of the steering wheel ?
