Merc AMG C43
Hi all
So quick write up on this one as my bother has just been out and bought himself a new car so I said I'd give it a little going over instead of the dealership have a good scratch at it! ![]() Anyway as said above its an 18 plate Merc AMG C43 in Metallic Grey. Beautiful car and a stunning drive. AMG have really gone to town on this one and no expense spared, lots of lovely little details on it. I wanted to make it as good to look at as it is to drive. Time was really of the essence for me as I had only one weekend to complete and it needed a good polish up and the paint and glass needed sealing. So no before pictures unfortunately, sorry. Anyone who follows me on Instagram will have seen some videos and bit of during so give me a follow if you want to see some of them. Firstly the wheels were cleaned with CarSpunk Wheel cleaner and AF Wheel soap. Tyres cleaned with Mothers Naturally Black tyre renew, aches APC cleaned. The front end of the car was then sprayed with AG BugOff left to dwell for a minute or two then the whole car was sprayed with BH Autofoam. After pressure washing this off it was 2 BM'd with Autoglym UHD shampoo, the decon'd with KKD tar remover followed by KKD Fallout remover. G3 clay mitt for the final decon stage, a quick foam and rinse to make sure all residues were gone then inside for a towel and air dry. Starting to tape up ready for polishing. ![]() Luckily the dealership had done very little damage to the paint so there was only areas which needed correction. Any correction done was on Uro Fibre MF's or LCC MF's with S3 Gold and then refined with S40 on Hex whites. The general car was done with Hex whites and/or LC Force Hybrid White pads and Koch Chemie M2.01 Glass was polished with Gtech glass polish. The car was then given a spray down with Gyeon Prep ready for coatings. All glass including the pano roof was coated in Nasiol Glass Sheild, a first for me using any of their products and I'm excited to watch the results. The car paintwork was coated in Kamikaze ISM. What a product that is. Very easy on/off and a real delight to use. The exhaust tips and alloy faces were coated in Carbon Collective Platinum Wheels. Tyres dressed in Autoglym High Performance Tyre Gel The engine bay was given an ONR wipe down to ensure it was clean and dressed with HD trim dressing. A long weekends work of 5:30am starts and long days, but I hope you think from the pictures the results were worth it. If you've made it this far then well done, i'll shut up and put some pictures on. Oh and all photos are not edited apart from number plates Please leave questions or comments ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
