Nissan have been a little quite on the Motorsport scene lately so now Nissan Motorsport have built this 370Z-based car for the SEMA show. It's called project clubsport 23 and it swaps the standard 3.7 litre V6 for a new turbo charged V6 with added forced induction. The V6 produces 400 BHP-an increase of more than 50 BHP over the standard 370Z's V6. For the new engine to fit in this two seat coupe, it needed a bespoke intake and exhaust system. The clubsport is also fitted with a cold-air induction system and a full 76 MM-bore exhaust system that now exits through the rear bumper rather than beneath it. Nissan engineers have also taken the LSD from the 370Z Nismo and added it to the clubsports rear axle. The braking system and chassis have also had an upgrade to take on that extra power. The standard springs have been replaced with KW variant coil-overs with Eibach springs and Nismo's body bracing. Exterior wise, we have 18 inch Rays alloy wheels and subtle additions to the body include a carbonfibre splitter, bonnet and mirror covers, a central rear fog light, Aero catch bonnet latches and those high up exhaust outlets.

Hmm, that is not a handsome car.
In picture two it looks like some sort of fish. |

I kind of like the front , but it looks a bit stubby, but then that may well be a good thing, looks purposeful

Really like it. Had a 370 and nearly bought a Nismo last year but the interior was just too dated to live with as a daily. They are a decent drive out of the box so these changes should all be for the good. Love to try one with the new engine.

I must suffix my comment with the fact I drive a Japanese coupe, although I think the 86 (bar the early 2000s Lexus style rear lights) is a better looking car.
Even on the teeny standard wheels. |

Yes! Looks like it has some 'stance', built for a purpose that, from the stats, it should carry out very well. Also love orange . . .
