Post My car of the day, Subaru WRX STI Gymkhana.

Something a bit different and not your everyday car and we all know (well most of us) that the WRX STI is long in the tooth but it goes to show how popular it still is in the tuning and modding world. So unlike previous Gymkhana vehicles, this latest creation is not an off the shelf rally car but an entirely bespoke creation with the road going version at it's core. It looks one of the most extreme looking to date and it's performance is set to match it. The Gymkhana STI features exposed carbonfibre bodywork with wild time-attack aerodynamic components that have been tested in a wind tunnel. Long-travel rally style suspension and a bare bones, race spec cabin can also be found. Under the bonnet we still have the famous four cylinder boxer engine but with no specific upgrades mentioned. I doubt it will be lacking in power, after all; the last Gymkhana featured Ken Block's 1,400 BHP Hoonicorn V2 custom built and featured a fire breathing bonnet-exit exhaust. The Gymkhana STI is due for release before the end of year.

Surely when I collect my shopping from Aldi, and load it in the boot, then "hoof" it away from the carpark, all the shopping is going to end up on the floor due to a massive hole in the boot panel.

Clearly not the most practicable vehicle is it!
