Jet seal advice please

Hi guys. Got a bottle of jet seal I haven’t really used that I want to use. I normally apply a layer of srp then a wax, usually pete’s 53. Can I use jet seal on top of that?

NO...Jet seal is a straight up sealant. Its better applied to the clean paint and not on top of a wax.

I don't find it that great though. It falls way down on its promises and it is expensive. But if you have it, it would be used on bare paint, either by itself or below a wax.

I usually use a glym paint restorer then a/glym srp and then Jetseal so maybe I have been doing it wrong ,I will try it after cleaning the paint without anything below and see if it lasts longer .

Jetseal should be ok over srp. I've used Jetseal over a few Chemical Guys Products. E.Z.Creme Glaze, Blacklight, Wet Mirror Finish, Vertua Bond 408. I've even topped Jetseal with Pete's 53 or Collinite 915.

It's not a bad product but it doesn't have the durability that's claimed. It's ok if you are using a quick detailer during maintenance washes as this makes it last longer.
