Auto Foam & Surfex HD

Hi there with winter upon us and the gritters out in force I'm looking for an extra bite to the snow foam. Do you guys add a citrus/degreeser cleaner to the foam as well during the winter months to help clean the car quicker?

If so how much would you add?

I've used a 1:10 solution of surfex as top up water to about an inch of auto foam which I don't think was enough apc as it didn't seem to make much difference if I remember correctly. I feel sure I did it on someone's recommendation.

Just to add Surfex is corrosive so be careful if washing your car with it regularly

Something like Greenstar with corrosion inhibitors would be much better suited to weekly washing

Be careful with "Greenstar" as it is not just one product, its a product range name with variants.
Always writing how in MHO KC have the biggest and best range of products and you have to read up on the KC site where all products are listed with MSDS and product sheets etc. You can can come a cropper if you don't.
The main page of each product gives really good in depth information.
Fantastic range that covers all car washing, commercial and not just detailing.
Well worth book marking if only for reference.
