I am planning to paint my lawn mower with a aerosol 2K direct gloss Kawasaki green but I wanted to know if I can get away with just a zinc primer and then the 2K direct gloss or will I need a base coat as well??

i would prime then go over with the direct gloss

so you choose either direct gloss or base + clear you dont interchange both
