First off, Fantastic product, extremely easy to apply and buff off which definitely helps with winter.

I understand 2-3 layers will provide adequate sealant protection. I really like the sheeting properties but should I look at applying a wax on top? Or should stick with tough coat throughout winter and use it like a quick detailer (since application is soo easy) to aid durability?

I was looking at purchasing Gtechniq c2v3 as a quick detailer to use but not sure it's worth it

Hey,

If you want easy maintenance through winter and good protection id stick with just Tough Coat and not top it with a wax, the spritz top ups make it easy to add an extra layer on the occasional dry but cold winter morning.

This is what I do on my own car and it serves me well :thumb:
