There isn’t really a middle ground with compressors. I had a 50l one and it was so loud I couldn’t be in the garage when it was running and I don’t use air tools so I switched to a 25ltr silent one and for my needs it’s been great. Silent is probably misleading, but you can hold a conversation stood next to it so massive improvement. I use mine for dusting, blowing out pads and for tyres, all of which it does just fine.
