The ES300h has cruised, with its new tyres, past the 21,000 miles mark, 2 years and 4 months since collection.

Running spectacularly of course - and Lexus have been trying over the last few weeks to get me into a brand new one (barely any used stock and very expensive used too). Nope!

Looks very nice !

Took my wifes 69 plate UX250 in for its 4th service and 2nd mot yesterday its on 33k , had the new model as a loaner and they have cheapened out imo , the materials don't feel as nice , the switches aren't as good either but the bigger screen is nice

such relaxing cars to drive

I’ve certainly no complaints about the way this is built [emoji106]

Quick update to say the ES300h is running beautifully and has passed the 25,000 mile mark.

Desperately needs a decent detail as it’s not being prepped at all recently.

it’s due it’s first MOT in a month or so (and will get its third service too). You get the impression with a day of proper detailing it would basically look brand new. It certainly drives like it, and even still sort of smells new inside.

wow, can't believe it's 3 years since you got this....

Still looking good
It’s unbelievable really. It’s obviously been as expected - a lovely car, bought at the right time (cost vs deals vs interest rates) so it’s panned out well I think for me.

Was in a brand new one today for the day and it has a few nice upgrades in the media etc but other parts of mine I prefer. Otherwise the cars are basically identical so mine is still bang on.

Is it strange for you having a car that never needs fixing or fettling... :ROFLMAO:

I certainly envy you on that score!

Meant to update.

New tyres fitted without issue a few weeks ago and wheel unmarked.

Also it was in Lexus last week getting the canbus security plate/fix and also had a good Tracker fitted too so that’s reassuring to know with all the many security issues for so many cars.

Otherwise, well over 29,000 miles, running beautifully and being utterly neglected on the exterior maintenance front (as is the Avensis) but at least I am not washing it badly 🤣

Could really do with finding the time to get some winter protection on it asap.

Car passed 31,000 miles recently. Was also in Lexus this morning getting an AirCon service as it was steaming up and not very cold. All sorted and back out the door after lots of coffee and biscuits by 09:20 - and a lovely Nee Year gift awaiting too 👍

As ever, great service by Lexus Edinburgh.

A Tunnocks! you are being spoilt!

Looks like the proper foil/paper wrappers too, I remember the challenge of separating them carefully as a young boy  Sadly the ones in our supermarket are now plastic/foil instead...

Lexus truly are masters of customer service, I am not surprised you are happy with them.

😂. Of course!

The car was in at Lexus today for major service (with Millers 0w/16) and MOT.

Needless to say not one observation on the MOT or service, had a software update of some type and running as good as ever. Nice new courtesy car too, and good coffee as ever.

It’s going in on Wednesday night for single stage machine where needed (and to remove remnants of the original ceramic coating done at delivery by the detailer) - a top spec multi ceramic coating - 6 years/60,000 miles minimum warranty on a professional spec, two different coatings applied, and I am also getting the wheels done inside and out alongside a coating on the glass too I think. It should be looking like new again soon - then I am taking the other car away for a week just after I pick it up so it will be covered in dust and crap when I see it again 😂😂😂

Pleasingly a nice round number when I parked it tonight after the days travels 😀

Love the progress and updates on this.

I see a few more of these on the road compared to the older GS models, but still very, very few in the grand scheme of things.

You're getting good economy from it as well, my GS is averaging tank to tank about 50mpg, but that's all motorway driving.
