Does anyone have experience using the SprayMax 2K clearcoat over the SprayMax 1k color coat. My main concern is if they are compatable. In the past I've used SEM 61993 as the color coat and have had success applying the Spraymax 2k after a 30 -60 minute period. So my question is, how long do I need to wait between the 1k color coat and the 2k clearcoat. Recently a rep told me I should wait for the color coat to dry for 30 days to be safe???? Here is a little more product info. if needed.
Basecoat: SprayMax 1k Fillclean (368 2071) . Contains: dimethyl ether, acetone, and propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate (1K FillClean® for 1K solvent basecoats)
ClearCoat: SprayMax 2K Clear Glamour , 2 Part (2K) Urethane Aerosol Clear Coat (368 0061)
