Recommendations for hand pump sprayer for snow foam?

I have a hand pump sprayer I use with my Bilt Hamber snow foam, but it doesn't tend to foam much, and I wonder whether that's because it's just a general purpose garden one. Any recommendations for an inexpensive one which works well as a snow foamer?

BH snow foam is well known as not being very foamy. Even through a lance! It does, however, clean exceptionally well compared to others. Wax Planet 8 Below is similar in cleaning abilities but foams much more if thats what floats your boat.

IK Foamers are very good (I have 2!) but they do need a hell of a lot of pumping (no pun intended) to keep producing foam. Takes a while to do the whole car truthfully. I think they are about £15 if you look around hard enough :)

Your regular hand pump liquid sprayer just pushes liquid out of the end of the discharge nozzle. In order to create a foam, the foaming sprayers need to utilise some of the compressed air in the bottle to aerate the liquid as well as push the liquid out of the nozzle. That's why your foaming sprayers need a lot more pumping. If I was in the market for a foaming sprayer, I'd look at the marolex axel 7000. They're not cheap though.

I use a cheap Alta Foam 2000 and it works ok but as everyone has said it takes alot of pumping for it to spray foam and the pressure doesn't last long.
You will have to use more snow foam product too compared to a foam lance used with a pressure washer and filling with warm water helps get more foam out of the sprayer.

Comes with 3 foam nozzles, I found the yellow medium one suited me fine.

Hope this helps.

You need a foaming head as well the standard fitting cannot sustain the pressure at a constant basis to snow effectively.

My MESTO foamer will do half a car, may take about 20 pumps, world well in small section.

You can get the product on making it thin then do most of the car, is you want a thick foam similar to a pressure washer @1000psi it will not happen.

Good for Wheels or the lover half of the car. I have two AS 1.5ltr they as only ever product sprayers some with Viton seals.

Imo, the fine spray from a garden pump sprayer seems to cling to the paint and dwell nearly as long as foam does?

Certainly for a few minutes before it starts to dry, which seems long enough for the cleaning agents to do their work.

Or am I missing something which the pump foamer offers? I have proper foam lances, but have never been attracted to the idea upgrading my pump sprayer to one with a foaming nozzle.
