ive personally found volvo paint quite hard on the v40 and xc60 ive had, but others on here have found it soft i think there are to many variables to be able to say if the paint will be hard or soft. best to start with the least agressive pads and compounds and work up and see what works for your car.

My silver M5 not sure what producst i used but as above its all in the prep and i think that goes for any car colour
