Ok guys, based on the success of the first thread, and meet, I'm of the opinion if we can achieve that in the middle of winter we can pretty much achieve anything.
What I would like to do is put on a bigger event, a little more streamlined, in warmer climates. And whilst doing so, raise a little money for some LOCAL charities that we already try to help as and when we can

My plans:
A totally free meet again, starting a touch earlier given the weather. Free food and refreshments again, maybe a BBQ? I want to organise more cars, all those posters we had as children, the cars we lust after now, maybe some American cars also. Although jim was good enough to run people around for free, perhaps people would be happy to put a small token into a bucket for rides in various cars this time? I will arrange with manufacturers and resellers to offer some sets to raffle off, or maybe run a hidden bid system, and do the same with my own products AND detailing services. I will get plenty of panels people can be hands on with again should they wish, maybe even get my dent and wheel guy over to offer advice and quotes.
What I would REALLY like to do is get some media over to show people just how awesome dw is and that there really are lots of good people in the world still

This is just a feeler thread. Please post your interest in here. If it's wanted I WILL send time arranging this guys :thumb:

Haha that's a very valid point! Do forgive me, I'm only just on the way home from work now lol!
Yeah I drink lots of pop as well as brews so you can count on me not letting you down

In fact if we do a BBQ, I'll rustle up some of my proper home made beef burgers - genuine quarter pounders with zero horse meat! They'd be good to cook on the day!

Likewise mate, I'll fetch the motor up next time as well and I'm more than happy for people to have a go on that too!

It'll be a pleasure to see you and chat to you properly again too fella :)

Yep I''ll be up for this.
As well as meeting some great people and picking up good advice was nice to see the local kids having a good look around and taking pictures. One young lad's Dad asked if son could have a picture in mine - happily obliged and hopefully gave him a story for school.
Temperature above 2 or 3 degrees will encourage me to spend more time trying out the samples !and less time being a wuss near the biscuits. Chilli burgers anyone?

That is the bit to be arranged. I think it will be at mine again, it was kind of nice to see a whole village a buzz and coming together to check out some cars. But this time as we will be supporting local charities I will try to get a local hotel to help with accommodation for traveling members etc.
Date wise the beginning of summer I reckon, I will try to avoid any big car shows. In fact, if you are a member of other forums or car clubs if people can pm me dates of their meets I can try to avoid them

I'm hoping unit size matter less with the good weather. If everyone can hang about outside without fear of freezing or rain it won't matter. And I did like the way everyone came out and little story's were being told of conversations in shops and stuff. "did you see the black Ferrari" made me laugh
