At the weekend me and and my misses went sea fishing but like an idiot I spilt some of my smelly squid bait in the back of my car and all I can smell when I get in my car is a rotten smell which is enough to make me heave, the question is I need something that's going to get rid of the smell out of carpet and I'm guessing it's going to have be pretty hard core too, has anyone got any ideas what I can use please.

Get a carpet shampooer on there with some suitable detergent thrown in. When done throw some Valet Pro Enzyme Odour Eater down (or a similar product). Job done.

If you're going to pay to rent a machine then why not just call in a valeter who will have all the appropriate equipment and chemicals anyhow.
