To Buy AVA Pressure Washers or Not?

Reading the posts over Ava I would say no.

Me personally 40 plus years with Karcher… now my K7 has been back I think six times under warranty and they still can’t fix the Bluetooth connection (not needed but not the point).

I really would be looking elsewhere, or am I just unlucky with a Friday Karcher ?

That's exactly what I would say and absolutely agree with the straight forward machine.

If I didn't have a compact (or two), I would be hunting down a 5 or 7 asap before the are unavailable, they're not on the Karcher site and OOS all over.

I managed to get the k7 premium with all extra for under £300 on an Amazon silly sale day.

It’s leaked 4 times, gun replaced, back 3x for blue tooth.

Customer support is awful live chat takes hours….

At least 18 months it had very little use due to illness, kept inside, water emptied after each use…

My old 4,11a lasted 15 plus years

I'm not sure why you are pointing it out to me specifically but in response, I've had about 5 Karchers, could be six. I've moved from one to another. Had the X series, somewhere amongst them, X5 I believe. It developed a leak, Karcher picked it up quickly, repaired it and it was back very quickly. My current K5 had a slight issue with the yellow piece remaining in the gun so other lances would not fit. They sent a new gun and some yellow pieces ( there's a name but I cannot remember it 😂)

Other than that, they all been fine, maybe I'm just au fait with washers but across the board, they seem to treat me well but I treat them well and use common sense.

Sorry to learn your experience has been bad, I've seen others say similar about Karcher and indeed every other brand.

For myself now, Karcher are going down a slippery slope model wise but I can't fault their service. Even on chat, they were good, they had the K7c on offer, it disappeared having sold out and they reserved one from the next delivery at the sale price + I'm very glad they did.

If yours is that poor, I'd contact Amazon, your contract is with them.
Contract after 12 months isn’t with Amazon, as now it’s under the manufacture extended warranty.
