Hey, ive just bought some rubber floor mats for winter as my carpet ones have been getting trashed with all the mud etc.
However i want to apply a dressing to them to make them a bit easier to clean and to stop them going a horrible grey.
Ive been looking at a few that say they are dry to touch and are non greasy.
Carpro perl and chemical guys v.r.p.

Does anyone else does this or would you not recommend it?

Cheers.

I did some pics and never did do a thread....:wall:

I think i went 1 part Perl to 5 parts water.

Does not feel slippy but will be foot wear dependent as some shoes will have a tendency to slip.

When first getting in after doing the mats in the iq official toyota mats my trainers were rather worn so only a very very slight slip but never faced it again after that.

My work Boots never budged and no slip at all on the Hitec mats in the pug.

You can try weaker strength as i say i have used the Perl a few times and few as the mats looked great for ages.

I run with Rubber Matts all year round.

That once was the only time i had any slip and it was very slight and only that one time, never did again.

Dressed my mats last winter with Perl as well, just when I sprayed on and worked in with a small sponge, I then dried them off with a microfibre and did not have any issues with being slippy all winter. Just took them out every couple of weeks and power washed them when doing the rest of the car and they came up like a treat.
