I really enjoy rinseless washing and normally rinselss wash my car once a week. I currently have ONR and Koch Chemie RRW. These seem to work well but I'm just curious what other people's go to rinselss is.

I have used three rinseless brands. ONR, halfway through my second gallon in about 15 years (heavy user 😂), McKees N-914 and only very recently Auto Finesse Rapid. Found all three to seemingly work well but I only use them for dust and pollen. I think of the three, I like the way the 914 performs because it's quite sudsy and does not leave anything behind AFAIK. Probably due to being detergent based rather than polymer which the other two are. I have seen it written numerous times, ONR does leave a little something, almost as if it's a good thing.

My reasons for liking 914 are merely based on the facts it mixes well, my mitt glides around well, it has a few suds which I do like (could explain the reason the mitt glides so well), it's a 256 to 1'er and it's not a bad smell. It might leave less visible residue on glass and therefore paint but that might also simply be how well I remove it 🤷‍♂️.
I will use Rapid next anyway, if I discover anything I'll update my thread on it in the eco section.

I think if pushed me to use one for good, it would be ONR simply because it's a known good all rounder even if a bit boring.

I’ve become a big fan and shameless user of rinseless stuff in the past few months. It’s easy of use, by which I mean that I don’t have to move my car out of the garage and get out all the hoses and pressure washer and such. It also means that I can keep the car clean more regulally in manageable time bits. I can do half the car, and leave it inside till later and then do the rest. Or I can do a quick wipe of a panel and play with wax. If my car is just dusty or only has a day or so of barely perceptible dirt, then rinseless is my first choice. As for a favourite? I switch up between RRW, Absolute, ONR, and ECH2O constantly. They’re reasonably interchangeable.

I've been an ONR user since its launch. This year I tried RRW, and it's become my favorite detailing product.

A lot of cleaning power, super lubricating, and the smell is incredible and addictive.

I also bought Gyeon Eco Wash to try, and... it's good, but not as good. It smells good, and the cleaning and lubricating power is similar to RRW, but it leaves a less slippery finish. Perhaps it leaves a nice shine; that's a subjective thing I'm testing these days.

As a drying aid, EcoWash is very slippery when used, and it feels rough afterward. As a drying aid, I still prefer Sonax Ceramic Detailer, Kocx Quick Shine, FSE, or even Magic Alien Argon.

For home and kitchen use, I used Green Star, but RRW cleans just as well, smells better, and is cheaper due works more dliluited

There's a new version of ONR so think I'll pick that up next as it's supposed to be a good improvement as the version 5 is apparently not the best version of ONR. I've always enjoyed the drying process using ONR or RRW just effortless and streak free.

What sort of drying towel do you guys use when doing a rinselss, I prefer a large soft plush microfibre over a twisted loop, as I find the little water left on the surface makes a twisted loop feel a bit rough if a drying aid isn't used.

I started with an old ONR in 2012, switched to ONR v5 after a long pause and found no noticeable difference but a more opaque color. Switched to DIY RW v2 this year and while I don‘t see much difference in the cleaning ability, I really like the slickness whenI use it. Its lubricity is better than ONR in my perception and gives me more confidence in my process.
