I have a few new products to try and just wanted to check the correct order to apply them?

Clean car as normal

Decon windscreen with IPA

Clean then with Auto Finesse Crystal Glass cleaner

Use Gtechniq - G4 Glass Nano Polish

Finally apply Carlack Glass Sealant (already have this)

The IPA would be stronger than the crystal, so no need to use crystal afterwards.

Whenever I use a glass sealant, I always clay the windscreen after I wash. Just glide the wash mitt over the screen for lube and then as you were.

i sealed mine a couple of months ago with the gtechnic kit from cyc. the g4 glass polish is pretty hardcore, I'm not sure you need to do anything before it? it removed all of the marks & spots from my screen. If your screen is pitted then its probably worth going over after you poliush it to make sure its 100% polish free before you seal it.

All I do is wash, clay, wash, seal. have never bothered with IPA or polish and had no detrimental effects - this is with Autobrite Repel and Angelwax H2Go.

Ill be sealing my glass when my h2go turns up, I will be washing, claying then ipa before applying

Have a look into ironx soap gel as a maintenance wash for glass sealants


Apparently it revives the coating really well
