Anyone with experience of 1Z Acrysol or equivalent?

Just been looking at 1Z Acrysol on the Einszett website. It does look a little pricey - £10 for 1L, but I'm still interested. Does anyone have any experience/thoughts on this product?

Also, are there any equivalent, preferably cheaper, alternatives?

I'm looking at using it as a solvent panel prep before claying (removing old wax/sealant, removing tar), before applying LSP (removing polishing oils/old LSP) or indeed as just a tar remover. Also it could be useful for preping paint before applying touchup.

Thanks for the replies chaps :thumb:

Not tried IPA on tar yet - I'll have to give it a go since it probably would make a cheaper substitute. Might just end up going for a dedicated T&G remover and use IPA for prepping paint.

Agreed, every 1Z product I've used so far has been great, which is what caused me to consider Acrysol in the first place.
