Hi all after given up smoking very heavily I switched to vaping which I do a lot to especially in the car. I always have the window open but I always seem to get a vape film on the inside. So be tried several glass cleaners including auto gleam g technique maguiars etc but can never seem to get it clean. So can anyone recommend what to use to clean it please?
Thanks all

Funny I'm sure I read that here somewhere else, I tried it as I couldn't remove some fling I got when I was polishing the car with the Tripple, It was the only thing I could remove it with, and it was nice to use on glass, even the windscreen where I was worried it might have some effect with the wipers but no issue. Not saying I would use it everyday.

I have the Dooka glass cleaner for vapers but its not quite the same as that shown above - I believe it may be an earlier version with a red/orange label. I haven't noticed any benefit to using this over any other glass product but the newer version maybe different. I vape in the car and tbh, I rarely notice any issues from it on my windscreen although I did have issues in my last car which had a much steeper screen. I tend to blow down or out the window rather than straight at the screen for this reason.

What you need is a solvent to break down the oily residue, normal glass cleaners will just smear it around. Panel wipe or ipa would be most effective but not exactly an enjoyable aroma, but most paint prep products like Carpro Eraser or Gyeon Prep would do the job, they’ll break down the oils and contain cleaners too. I’d also avoid using microfibres for the cleaning phase at least as the oil will just ruin them, use blue roll or kitchen paper. Finish up with a normal cleaner and glass cloth.

i could share the info from various tests done by folk in the medical profession
or let folk read the "news" in the papers, without the facts :D

chap i know , part of the Geneva heart foundation , some 14years ago now did a control test and study of "2nd hand vaping"
and in an enclosed space (room) where the air quality was monitored to establish a base line, a group of smokers allowed to smoke in there,, air quality monitored , time given to return to "pre use" levels, then a group of people vaping and the same air quality monitoring used,
Air quality was The same when the room was empty and those people vaped in it
unsurprisingly the Smokers Did have adverse effect on the qir quality

the, ~"poisoning the air of anyone else about" ,, No that simply not a fact,
yes you Can and will smell the aroma of certain flavours, same as you would walking past a bakery etc,, but poisoning you,, NO,
i would suggest you refrain from comments like that, as they are incorrect, damaging and "media fed" ,,

please Rethink?

Well I'm sure that gloop on the inside of a windscreen ( and everything else) will be better not in anyone's lungs than in them, regarless of tests, and if there's substance on vape, why bother openning the windows.
And cynically was there any possible route of funding from vaping related bussiness into said testing, after all the tobacco industry (just like all industry and marketting) alway put a spin, and oddly enough its never negative to their products....
And again logically is there anything good inhaled into healthy lungs other than O2 (at appropriate partial pressures)...

Less bad than is still not good.
