Hi all, I’m planning on doing my yearly protection detail tomorrow. Temps look like it will drop overnight to just above freezing, so I’ve bought Gyeon Cure as a topper for Cancoat, as the car will be left outside overnight.

My question is: How Long after applying Cancoat should wait before I apply Cure?

I’d like to put it on as soon as possible, due to the amount of pollen that will be sitting on the paint if I leave it too long

Would probably give yourself a better result waiting until overnight temps increase... I wouldn't dream of applying durable protection where temps are below dew point in the evening, unless of course you had applied first thing in the morning and it was in the sun all day.

Topping with Cure would for me be an absolute last resort.. masks the initial performance of Cancoat for a number of weeks.

Yeah i'm sure it will mask the superior water behavior of Pure EVO but it's because i will be applying it outside.

I assume cure is more like carpro's reload which is rather flat.

I was talking to sandro of car craft auto detailing last year on facebook and he recommended i cut reload 50/50 with water to protect the coating. He also said ideally you want to want 12+ hours before adding a topper but where i live most every night you will get dew.
