Well it wasn't what I had planned but...

Main roads are clear banked up either side with snow, side roads are more as per the picture, a salt bath. Lesser used remain pretty much untouched other than vehicles steadily compacting the snow.

Managed to avoid the salt bath so far and luckily can wait for the slightly warmer weather by which time perhaps it won't be quite so bad. There will always be some residual salt, the roads dry out a bit so it's often dust to be washed off the paint but activated underneath by water.

I will get the Karcher under chassis cleaner out later this year, not good for upward facing surfaces so a lance will be used too.

This stuff is awful.
