In the summer my car gets covered in dust as quick as a day after washing. Is there a safe and easy way to remove the dust without washing the car again? At the moment its a quick rinse with a hose and left to dry naturally, but this leaves water marks.

I find some QD's assist with reducing the amount of dust that settles on the car. For example Chemical Guys Speed Wipe (Anti-Static) Quick Detailer.
Do a search on the site and you will see many QD's, there is bound to be one you like the sound of.

There's not much you can about dust, I have the same problem as well as the car is outdoors, but have found sealants resist less dust than waxes in summer have you got wax on your paint by any chance.
Being a dark coloured car you always will see airbourne contaminates settled on too the paint than lighter shaded cars especially when the car is clean; to me it sounds like you need anti static product but have no experience of these products on the market.

My drive is accessed by via an un surfaced road so dust a nightmare for me too.

I just go for keeping lots of wax on the car and regular washing so would be interested in any ideas too.

Going to try snow foaming this summer to see If I can get away with contactless washing rather than excess sponge work.

I'm a big fan of QD's to help with reducing this, but unfortunately, the dust then generally drops and sits in the rubber window seals..

But, if the car is only dusty, then a quick 2BM wash and a QD to assist with drying is what I tend to do, doesn't take too long really, then a spritz with QD to finish off.

Thanks for all your replies, as I don't like to wash my car more than once a week I think ill have to put up with it. I have used a QD to remove light dust but it just feels wrong no matter what the product details say about it not scratching the surface (i only did this because its going in for a two stage polish next week). I think the best thing to do is move to a house that has a garage.
