Foam Gun doubts

Hey mates, I just bought the gilmour foam gun.

I'm using CG maxi suds. How do I make a correct mix for the FG? Shall I put 2 caps of product and fill the rest of the tank with water or just a bit? Or just the shampoo?

I normally put 2-3oz of maxi suds and around 6-8oz of water in the container and shake it up, then foam.

maxi suds very good product but tried ron at motorgeeks DP foam and its AMAZING in the gilmour i only used small amount filled with water shook up and set to largest air hole on gilmour and foam galore!!
