How many coats off Collinite 476???

Id like to add some more wax to help keep the paintwork in good nick while the girlfriend is driving it and washing it, when im away!

i dont mind giving it 20 coats if i have to...i just dont know what is best!

ive got a new tub of collinite 476 wax paste so just want to know what prep work to do before and the best way to apply?? with or with out PC and how long to leave??

I've never used it, but am sure have seen reference to 2 coats of 476 being able to offer great and long lasting protection.

If you wanted to go for something less durable but perhaps wetter looking etc then you might try Victoria Concours. Used it myself and love it and seen great results on red cars posted here!

After 2 coats you're taking off more wax than putting on after buffing it off again.
Put on 2 for now, and when it looks dull or stops beading then put another coat on.
I think Dave_KG said that 2 coats lasted an entire winter for him.

I use 476 on my car, just apply a fine smearing (almost invisible) using something like a megs foam applicator pad.
I then let it sit for a few minutes and buff off with a soft polishing cloth.
Leave 24 hours between coats so that the wax can properly cure.
